Aims and Scope

“Social and Legal Studios” is a peer-reviewed periodical that publishes articles on current issues of law and law enforcement. In addition, the editorial board welcomes works of an interdisciplinary nature that show the connection between topical issues of the legal field and economics, finance, banking, management, political science, psychology, social studies and related scientific areas. Supporting the principles of global knowledge sharing for the sake of general social progress, the journal is a universal scientific platform for constructive dialogue in various fields of research. In its publishing activities, the journal provides a comprehensive interdisciplinary approach in designing models of human relations (individual, in social groups, or society as a whole), putting them in a certain context (of financial security, political crisis, psychological discomfort, legal conflicts, or universal globalisation).

The purpose of the journal is to present different views on global and regional scientific problems of jurisprudence, as well as to inform readers about the results of scientific analytical and experimental research in the field of social and behavioral sciences (economics, public administration, psychology, sociology), if these studies contain a legal aspect.

The journal’s objectives:

  • publication of scientific results on solving current theoretical and practical problems of all branches of law;
  • establishment of partnerships with international scientific publishing organisations;
  • keeping with the editorial and publication ethics.

The main audience of the journal includes researchers, doctoral students, lecturers, civil servants and practicing lawyers, psychologists, sociologists, and economists. The materials published in "Social and Legal Studios" will be of interest to a wide range of readers who would like to expand their own understanding of contemporary social problems. The content of the presented articles always encourages reflection, discussion and production of new ideas.

We are open to the popularization of comparative studies, therefore we invite colleagues from different countries of the world to cooperate in order to inform the audience about the current results of analytical and experimental studies in the field of jurisprudence, social and behavioral sciences. The main criterion for selecting materials for publication is their compliance with the journal's objectives and problems, novelty and relevance of ideas, scientific and factual truthfulness of the submitted material.

"Social and Legal Studios" is characterised by a dedicated team of professional editors, a fair and rigorous review process, high standards of editing, rapid publication and editorial independence.
